I am in love with this sculpt. It has been around for some time now but I just have to keep creating these wonderful babies with this face. It was created by Ann Timmerman and she just knows how to capture the most serious of expressions on babies and I love their features. This wonderful baby has gorgeous German glass eyes in the hazel color and they are simply beautiful with her darker hair. She has full lips that I just love as they give the appearance of almost wanting to “cooooo”
That’s the beauty of these babies, they’ll never grow up OR make a noise. Thanks for peeking….
Wow, is she ever….what a wonderful size she is. I have never worked on a baby this big and I have to say it was so fun creating her but OH MY was that big head time consuming with rooting all that hair. This is another wonderful sculpt by Adrie Stoete and she just has a way with knowing how to create these larger babies. I love the way her coloring has come out as it is brown with a yellow tint which to me is the coloring of many Asians. As for her hair I have chosen to make it curly, I know that’s out of the norm, however it can be straightened as well. Her size is 25 inches long and she weighs over 8 pounds….BIG baby girl. AND she can sit up all by herself. Thanks Adrie for creating this wonderful sculpt as I so enjoyed creating her.
Wonderful petite baby girl Serah was sculpted by Adrie Stoete and she is truly a newborn size. As you see she is another wonderful little sleeper and will lay so peacefully in your arms or on your lap and won’t make a “peep” as she sleeps so soundly. Adrie sculpted her to be the sister to Rose as she too was a small, petite baby and has the same face with the exception of they do have different mouths. Adrie has been sculpting babies for many, many years and we never know what great creation she will come up with next. I have given Serah a very light brown baby hair color and I simply love how here coloring turned out. I truly never know how one baby will come out from the next as for the most part their vinyls are made different so what one color looks like on one might be different on another. Thank you for reading about Serah and viewing her photos.
This gorgeous little baby girl will simply melt your heart as she has such a innocence and softness to her features. Her expression was created by well known sculptor Olga Auer. Olga knows how to capture the sweetness in a babies face and she is especially talented and gifted with the details in the hands and feet. This sculpt is a limited edition and I would imagine she will go rather quick. I have given her gorgeous German glass eyes in a hazel color and she gives the appearance of looking right at your. She has 3/4 arms and legs so she can be posed in fun ways. Her vinyl is wonderfully soft and was so easy to work with. I gave her the gorgeous dark brown hair that is so incredibly soft. I have yet to learn to root open eyed lashes (I attempted with her but not so easy). One day I will figure it out but in the mean time I will continue to use wispy baby lashes. Thank you for reading about her.
Ah, what a wonderful baby boy he is….captured by Tina Kewy whom sculpted him did such a terrific job as usual with her detailing. Little baby Jack has a true boy look to his face and even the shape of his head is to be desired. I also had great fun with him as he has full vinyl arms AND legs which in vinyl kits is rare. I love the way his hands and feet are as his little toes are so spread apart as if stretching and his hands have wonderfully long fingers. I have tried the new lighter hair with him and it could not have come out any more perfect, it is so incredibly baby soft. Thank you for taking the time to read about Jack and enjoy his photos.
After I had completed this kit that is named after a girl I really liked how he looked more like a boy as boy kits are SO hard to come by. I have to say however that this kit is by Linda Murray “the cradle” and I have never been so disappointed in an all around kit. The head is SO much bigger then the limbs. The limbs looked more like a preemie size and the head is a large newborn size. Needless to say I LOVED the face so still wanted to play around and give it life so I went through my box of “extra” baby parts and came up with a set of arms from Romie Strydom and a set of legs from Jessica Schenk. Thankfully they all matched perfect in color so I was able to paint them all to match the head….whew.
He really does make a better boy then girl and so I chose to really give him a boy hair cut and used that gorgeous dark brown but cut it much shorter around the forehead and sides then I normally do. It’s such gorgeous hair that once it’s messed up by changing tops it can be simply combed, not water necessary to put comb back in place. He also has gorgeous German glass eyes and he gives the appearance of looking right at you. I love this face and I am so glad I made it, however I will no longer be ordering any more Linda Murray kits as they are too expensive to take a chance on and not be able to use ALL the parts. Thank you for peeking
Once again I have created a wonderful baby with the sculpt by Linde Scherer named Angelo. Normally it would make a wonderful boy however upon completing it I loved it as a girl. This new hair that I use it so incredibly soft and so baby like. It is very dark brown in color and it is SO easy to work with. I have been reborning for many, many years and I think hair is the most important part of the reborning process and so I have tried several types and several suppliers but this hair is simply the best. She is a true newborn size baby at only 20 inches long and is so so cuddly in your arms.
Simply stunning is all I can say about this wonderful Asian baby girl. Her name is Liu-San by Adrie Stoete and she did a superb job on capturing the true Asian appearance, from the wonderful slant eyes to the lips. It has been a very long time since I worked on one of Adrie’s sculpts but when I seen Liu-San I just KNEW I had to work on her. Also since I have found a new hair supplier with straight hair and so loved it for her. She also has brown colored eyes, not too deep so you can still see her pupils. She is a petite baby at only 19 inches in length but such a great face to look at. Thanks for taking the time to read about her
What a WONDERFUL big baby she is….she is the biggest baby I have created thus far and she was SO much fun. Her name is Camille and she was sculpted by Ann Timmerman who is by far one of my all time favorite sculptors. Ann knows just how to capture the most realistic of faces and features combined. It is very difficult to find a sculptor who can do both and she does them very well. I found a new supplier of hair and I am so excited as I finally found someone who I can obtain straight hair instead of always have a curl, which I love, but straight is fun too. I chose to give her more baby fine, wispy hair and it’s super easy to take care of. She is also so large that she is wearing size 6 month clothing…..FUN FUN FUN!! Thanks for peeking
I want to first of all wish everyone a very happy new year and wish everyone good things to come their way in the new year. My newest addition is from a new sculptor by the name of Ping Lau. It would appear her sculpts could possibly be more of the asian group. This wonderful little sculpt is called Soledad and she was a treat to work on with her very soft features. She is much smaller then I am used to creating, she is only around 19″ in length and her weight is just over 4 pounds, so very petite. I love her sweet little face and chose to make her eyes appear as looking more to one side then straight on and she has wonderful little wrinkles in her forehead. She wears a true newborn size clothing so you know she’s pretty teeny tiny. I look very much forward to the new sculpts that will be coming out this year and new artists creating them. There are so many wonderful ones that it becomes difficult on who to work on next….but I love each and everyone.
